well got my new z7 extreme all tuned in & ready to go. Tonight I was sharpening my knife and missed a lick on the stone. I cut a 1 1/2" gash on my left finger and part of the way through my tendon. Thought I was going to have to surgery to keep the tendon from snapping in too but I talked them out if it as long as I wear a cast and don't move it for 2 weeks and hope it will heal on it's own. Wish me luck I was looking forward to being in the stand sat morning. Boy typeing with 1 hand sucks.

thanks guys I appreciate the well wishes. It's sore as heck today. Dad's got a crossbow but he can't pull any of my bows and why he's using a crossbow now. You should have seen the tendon. You could tell plain as day that it was about cut in half. If you've ever cut the tendon on a dear's rear hind leg trying to make a slot to hang it you know what I'm talking about and I guess that's why it freaked me out so bad to see it.
