    Carmello played a great game tonight too. I'm a Lakers fan, and I'm a little scared of the Nuggets in the playoffs.

    I think the Knicks are freeing up cap room for a reason.

    Lebron vs. Carmello was just an awesome battle all night. Carmello is an incredible offensive player; Triple threat, jab step and go every time and he's still unstoppable (but then again, all great players make their living off that :)) Lebron was unreal. I wish he wouldn't have stormed off the court like a middle schooler after he missed, but that's what you get from him.

    The Cavs GM is a moron though. If he wants to lock up LBJ for life he needs to bring in someone young (see Amare) who is going to be there and be good for 6-8 years.

    Shaq = on his way out.
    Jamison= 2-3 years left
    Ilgauskas = getting old quickly
    Gibson, Williams, West = :D Yup.

    Besides being the first billionaire (Lebrons first goal as a player :(), i think LeBron really does want to go down as a "Legend". What happens if he signs a new deal with a new team every 5 years and never wins a Championship?

    He cant expect to be successful right out of the gate with a new team. He will be entering his 8th season next year, Jordan won his first championship in his 7th. He already had 2 MVP's and a DPOY to his credit.

    Everyone is quick to say hes only 25 and played 500 games, but does anybody honestly think a player his size will play (at a top level) till hes 34? 35? 36? Especially with the beating he has taken. Just because Kobe and Micheal did it, doesn't mean he will.

    If LeBron wants to etch his name into "Legendary" status, he needs to start winning Championships now. Switching teams in his prime will not accomplish that.

    With the All-Star talent he has around him now (O'neal, Jamison, Williams), he needs to get it done.

    Thats the difference between him being a Magic, Bird, Jordan, Kobe...or a Karl Malone/Charles Barkley.

    I agree with this.

    If i could choose a dream team for next year...

    Lebron, Bosh, Hickson, Williams and Jamison with West, Varejao, Gibson, Parker and Moon coming off the bench.

    Not sure if losing Shaq/Z will clear enough room to nab Bosh, but its a nice thought.

    I dont see it.

    Side note about the Knicks...does McGrady do anything for them?

    I always liked Tracy, he really could have been a stud.

    I agree with that. Maybe if he didn't require all that money....the team could afford to spend more to surround him with support. Did you ever think that the "billionaire" thing was a BAD thing??????

    Hell that's what I asked you. You said you could see him in that group. I coould see Marge Schott in that group, but I eventually sober or wake up.

    Yes. Ive said it before.....ive never heard a good word about LeBron outside of basketball. But i just care about the game. I dont care what he does in his personal life, as long as i can watch the Cavs win a championship. Pro sports are just entertainment anyways :D

    Out of any player in the league who could currently join "that" group. I only see 4.

    LeBron, Wade, Durant, Anthony.

    Nash had a chance...but he wont win it in Phoenix and he's almost 40. McGrady a few years ago maybe, but def. not anymore. Kobe's already in (Shaq to), Garnett got close.

    If Lebron and the Cavs rattle off a string of titles, he'll go down as one of the greatest. Thats all im saying.
