so i want to get into traditional archery

    i was asking a question in regards to you saying i dont need to cut my arrows to match my draw length. sorry if that got lost in my question somewhere. and if i have to be dead nuts with my setup, wouldnt it be better to cut the arrows to length?

    How do you know what length to cut them? Or, a better question would be.....How do you know the spine reaction is correct at that length?

    You, of course, don't (unless you've been through the tuning process). With your traditional bow, your bow/arrow will tell you (during tuning) how long they need to be. It's not something you tell the bow/arrow.

    Figure out which BH/FP weight you "think" you want to shoot. Build your arrow, backwards, from there.

    oh, i think im gettin it now. i guess since recurves and longbows are more unique bow to bow you have to find what works for it, like muzzle loaders, right? so id be safe to say that now two recurves will shoot the same arrow correctly? either that or im just confusing myself more. either way i learned something, even if i dont understand it.
