What about PS3 while you're at it?

    We have the 2 DVD option for $11.99 a month, we watch 2 movies a week x 4 weeks = $1.50 a movie.

I'm really busy right at this moment but google Xbox live and ESPN. Xbox is the only non-cable/Dish company to have an agreement with ESPN. Basically you pay for Xbox live service and you are able to stream ESPN.

Also you could ask your parents for their cable company log in and cheat the company if you wanted to as well and use "WatchESPN" and log in with their info. Not that I am advocating that. I don’t think this should be your permanent option but it can work in a pinch. :D

Finch, PS3 does not have an agreement with ESPN.

I just use someone's cable company log in whenever I need to stream ESPN3 for games not on air.

But I do the same for Netflix so my advice may not be the best. Basically, I'm a freeloader.

There is a guy at work... He says screw Apple, Roku, and all other Streamers EXCEPT the Android G-Box.... Does anyone have this? Is it basically just another streaming device like a Roku? I believe we are on the brink of a Television Revolution... Regardless of what brand of streaming device you get.

I went with the Winegard MS-2002 since it was omni-directional (more radial in nature and not so direction specific for picking up signals) and built in amplification...

Link: Winegard MS-2002 Satellite TV Receiver - Newegg.com

To answer your question, yes, I run all our TVs off of my one antenna.... Since we don't have cable TV, I just ran a cable line to where all the rest of my cable lines terminate. Hooked up the feed from the antenna to the input on a splitter and then just connected the cable drops I was using to the output ports on the splitter...

Easy enough. Thanks for the link, another one to add to the list for consideration. Did you try one of the indoor antennas first to see if that would get you by? I'd hate to unneccessarily spend more money for something I don't really need.

I put up an outside aerial on my chimney. Works great and easy to do.

I would agree... I bought several of the indoor amplified antenna's at a local electronics store and nothing worked that great - and the price difference really wasn't all that much between the two types - many of the indoor models were still 40-$60 but the range difference between the two was significant, at least in my testing. And the longer the range, the more options you have. For example I can pull a couple of the main affliates from the area to my south (town is 50-60 miles away - but the tower must be closer) and last year my local affliate chose to broadcast the Packers game while the one to the south broadcast the Vikings - luckily I could watch either...

We don't have cable or satellite. We use Netflix for movies. You need both the DVD and streaming because most movies are only available one way. For example, Breaking Bad was on streaming, but the last episodes were only on DVD. We have an indoor antenna which gets us three local stations. But we only watch maybe every couple months if there is some big deal going on like tornado warnings or something.

I guess, if you watch a lot of sports, you might need cable or something, but we do mostly other stuff. We can catch an occasional game at the bar if it's on early 'cause we can't keep the girls up too late. (They always go with us when we go out.) I think we probably live the way people did, before TV.

Just bought an indoor antenna from Walmart to see how many stations I could get. Well, I only received 2, CBS and some other channel. CBS was HD quality (not as good as that from DirecTV) but good enough for me not to care. I spun the antenna around and reprogrammed. It said I then had 9 channels but I could only watch a couple and CBS was not included.

I'll return it and order something like SouthDakotaHunter has. It should pick up everything once programmed without having to rotate it and reprogram, right? Make sense?

I feel like I live in the middle of no where. Am the only one with no cable or fiber service anymore? :(

I have no cable/satellite. I don't miss it at all. I'd rather find something to do rather than just sit and watch TV anyways.

    So Roku 3 + Plex + unofficial apps = I feel like I'm cheating

seriously...any TV show or movie I want in HD? This is too easy.
