Case by case basis. Never say never. You never know what kind of fruitcake worse than Obama that may to be defeated in the future.
ok sorry PT, you didn't say he should be put to death, but you did say he should be convicted of murder.
I tried and tried to get people to understand that the only wasted vote was one for Romney. We all knew he was not going to win, so why not try to get Gary Johnson enough votes so that the Libertarian party could be involved in the debates during the next election. Sadly, most people could not understand this.
Sorry, I can't vote for the lesser of two evils with a clear conscience anymore. Doing so will truly be wasting a vote. And how can we have a revolution at the polls if we keep doing so? Correct, we can't.
Agreed. I will admit that I was a fool and made a huge mistake. But, I'm smart enough to learn from my mistakes.
Trust me when I say this... You are way closer to that group than I am.... I am betting it has to do with all that Canadian influence... :p
I do. While there is certainly a black market for cheap GUNS on the streets of your local city, there is not the same market for ammunition (yet) b/c you can still go into Wally World and buy your zombie slayer ammo w/o any background check. Of course, we all know that a certain special interest group who's membership represents only 1.4% of the US population is fighting tooth and nail to keep that ammo nice and available for thugs and criminals.
Spoken like a true socialist right there. The government needs to control everything and make sure everyone is safe. Americans need to get it out of their heads, Our government was specifically set up to be different then that for a reason.
Should I need to get a background check to buy a baseball bat, or a crow bar? How about a steak knife? I can kill someone with any of those items, so surely we should make sure I'm not a criminal. Here's a thought, how about we punish criminals for being criminals and lock them up for a long time for violent crimes? Instead of punishing law abiding citizen by extreme taxation and scrutiny when trying to purchase a perfectly legal item? I guess common sense truly isn't that common any more.
Amen! I can see it now.... background checks to use silverware at restaurants. Its getting ridiculous. We are in going to be in serious trouble if this pattern continues Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I know some feel this will never happen but just look where we are today as a society. If there are just a few more libs voted into the house and senate, I assure you obama would sign it in to law if they pass it. Heck, I've had to give my license to buy batteries and butane at the same time. We're not that far from passing a law like this. We're not there at the moment but we are close. I get a background check every day in order to purchase my ammo(even the days I don't purchase anything), as does every other FOID holder in Illinois. And we hold the murder capital of the nation
Raising the prices of ammo will resolve the problem the same way prohibition solved the alcohol problem in the 1920's and 30's.
