Seems that the Dems are at it again, now they want to tax gun and ammunition sales at ridiculous levels. Raising tax on ammo from 11 percent to 50 percent and doubling the amount of tax on gun sales. Plus wanting to charge $100 for each gun transfer. Will this bill pass, I doubt it, but for them to even propose garbage legislation like this makes me sick. Well as Chris Rock once said, if you want to stop crime, make each bullet cost $3000. Then people won't be running around popping caps in each other.

Just because there is a low likelihood that this will pass, doesn't mean we shouldn't voice our opinions. So, I take it you trust our elected officials much more than I do. You don't think some of the slimy republicans would vote for this if it meant the got something checked off their agenda? Republican or Democrat, they are still politicians and we have surely all learned that politicians are not interested in what is best for the people.
I am definitely worried about these kinds of laws. A low chance of passing doesn't mean it won't get passed. The fact that someone even proposed that sort of a bill is scary indeed. I am also in a state where you can't have more than 7 bullets in a gun...
Yes. At the very least the POTUS would not be trying to incite race wars and trying his damndest to take law abiding citizens guns.
