it's a free country, why do Judgmental HOOK?

They can live how they want to live, why should they conform to your vision of what neighbors should be.

    Two suggestions:

1- Buy them a gift subscription to Better Homes and Gardens,

    2- Check your local ordinances.

In our town, you can only park cars in a driveway, not on the lawn.
You can't park on the street between 2AM and 5AM.
Grass can't be more than eight inches high. If it gets too high, the city will send someone out to mow it at your expense, and also fine you $250.

If you are not happy with the neighbors who moved in, pack your stuff, sell your place and move out. Although it might be easier to try and get acquainted and try to get along.

Hooker, 5 years ago I wouldn't have bought a house in a neighborhood that had an HOA for anything. I live in the country now but, we are considering moving closer to the city. I want a HOA if I'm going to live in a neighborhood. You chose not to do that and there are risks associated. This is one of them.

The way I see it you have a few options. Call the city and file a complaint. If its enforced it is. If not your screwed and should maybe think about moving if it continues.

You could do as suggested and man up and talk to them. Get to know them a little and talk to them about how they are perceived by you and other neighbors. Maybe they will change their ways.

Or you could not worry about it, stop complaining if you're not intending on doing anything, grow a set and take a picture or two and don't worry about if they see you or not. Then stop complaining.

No matter what you do, do something other than complain about it online and not do something in real life.

Good luck with the neighbors and stay away from that vicious and deadly out bull dog man!

I'm loving this thread... waiting to see pics....

I live in the country, but have several neighbors... we are all pretty much equally trashy... we mow when we feel like, don't when we don't. I have farm equipment and atv's setting in my yard.....

I could never live in a well established neighborhood. Don't care enough about "appearance" to survive... or too lazy... maybe both.

But these people sound legit... must see pics though.

Waiting for (real) pics...and just cause they wear cargo shorts doesn't necessarily mean they are white trash...and maybe their lawn is un-mowed cause their goat died. The beer pyramid cause he works for a distributor...or in marketing.

Maybe. Take em a beer and get the scoop...and some pics!

The only real hope you have is if they are renters, then you can complain repeatedly to the owner until he gets tired of the complaints and evicts them.

If they own, then you're SOL. Either have to put up with it or move.

I am all for freedom and letting people do as they want so long as it doesn't infringe on others. The way this is described, the latter has occurred. If they are violating city ordinances, then they should comply or go live elsewhere, not the other way around.

I got the exact same problem !!!!!! Some ****** lives next door and because of him my street isnt a great place to live anymore. This d bag is a "handyman" yet i rarely see him leave his house. I cant figure out other than drugs how he would pay his rent. He has multiple dui's and drug convictions, also has resisting arrest and assault charges and the list goes on. He has people stopping over left and right, two or three minutes a clip. He drives a soft top jeep with no rear window ! All winter long and stuffs a blanket in it to keep the snow out ! Then their is his punk *** kid who needs to get a ****ing dose of reality ! You are white, your not a thug, or a gangsta. You do not live in a crime neighbor hood in the ghetto of a big city. You live in a small town of a few thousand in wisconsin. Doesnt have a job, is in his twentys and goes in and out of jail all the time. I have personally seen the police raid this house with guns drawn five times in the last two or three years. They have found crack pipes, extacy, pot and acid. Cops drive past the house an average of five times a day. Naturally last night their was five or six guys hanging out over there smoking cigs acting like the coolest **** since sliced bread ! Cant stand it !!!!!!! Why cant the house just burn down.

So glad I live on my 101 acres and don't have neighbors...lol. I couldn't live in a subdivision...not enough room for me I guess. If I can't piss off my front porch....I'm not at home...lol. I do have a clean yard and such. Anyway, I hope you get it taken care of and not have any problems.

That's part of the problem with some of these people. They still piss off the front porch! Usually on a neighboring driveway.

Respect for yourself and others. That's all I ever ask. Show some effort and I'd help someone out, but a complete disregard and total lack of decency is the final straw.
