Well i had a GOOD buck bolt at 35 yds. Idk if he smelled me cause wind was swirling but he didnt bolt hard. He stopped about 100yd away and tail flicking and seemed to calm down then trotted off opposite direction. All i can remember was how big his neck and shoulders were. Anyway 40 min later i watched a doe and fawn on my upwind for a bit then they flagged and ran away. I was about to leave cause i thought it was me. Then this jerk comes cruisin through 5 seconds later. Couldnt stop him so i slung on at him while he was cruisin. Guess it beats just getting busted Oh yea by the way that buck was probably good 140 - 150 class. And encounter was at 730am so definitely coming back to bed late!
Thanks! He was young and had a real nice coat. Didnt want to let him go to waste so i drug him to road and called someone i know who would want him.
