    I like dove. Might have to start whacking starlings and wrap them in bacon.

    The meat is great! I'm just waiting until I have a lot to cook more. Gives me something to do every day, and those damn things take skill to hit! Great practice.

    When you hit something hard with a blunt head it tends to blow off the nock.

    Next time you shoot one you need to get a picture behind it holding it up like a deer. Do it like the pros a position yourself as far back from the sparrow as possible so he looks like a giant . Make us think you shot an ostrich.

    Yup the concrete block behind the box destroyed the arrow and popped off the nock ffrom impact.

    didn't realize you hit the cement block after hitting the bird. I see the hole in the box now that you mentioned it.

    Hahaha I know what you mean. I shoot Sparrows, and ground squirrels, and they look small from 20-30 yards. but iv never tried eating one. with the rubber blunts i use. they usually explode.
    Good shooting. not many people i know even think about bow hunting birds with me, but it is alot of fun.
