Yowza is this the real deal. I picked up a used one for cheap to check out and got it today. I gotta tell this thing works very, very well. What I thought was sharp before was good with the lansky, but this thing gets them even sharper. I found the the leather stop that comes with it puts that edge like a razor blade! I used the leather strop on my WW I sharpened a few weeks back, this put the edge right back on em rather nicely!

Is It that good Joe and worth the money? These 160 grain glue on's I'm shooting are a pain to sharpen to get shaving hair sharp. I get them there but It takes much monger then It did with the 125's.

Steve, I got mine from the classifies on TG, I put in a WTB add and got a like new ST for $20.00 to my door! There were a few replies for around the same price range. To me a sharper BH is well worth it. I could get them sharp before but it took some doing, I have a feeling I'll be able to keep them sharp a lot easier as well. The leather really brings them together!

That's interessting. I only used a file on WW and snuffers and they were always wicked sharp. I thought they were much easier to sharpen than most two blade heads.

I could get them very sharp too, but I also can get them sharper with the ST and I'm pretty happy with the results!

Sharper Is always better Joe, specially with a 3 blade head. Mine are plenty sharp (shaving hair with ease) but It takes me a day to get one head done. I'll be getting one of these tamers, just haven't got It done yet this week.
