KSU is closed today. Went to town earlier and there were cars all over sliding and getting stuck. We were going to go to cabelas in KC, but I think we are going tomorrow instead.
Well its on the way to me then. I might not have my 6 o'clock class tonight due to the snow but we will see.
SE South Dakota was supposed to get pounded, but it hasnt happened yet. They downgraded us from 9-12 inches to 4-6 now. I guess I am okay with it, they never call off school here anyways.
No, but we are supposed to get 3-6" tonight/tomorrow up here. The worst of the storm is going to the south of us.
Wer're only supposed to get 1/4 of ice, sucks. Maybe an inch of snow. Wish we were getting a foot of snow!
Went home at noon. It started as sleet and now is almost whiteout conditions with snow with maybe 4" on the ground. According to the radar it's not gonna quit any time soon.
We have like 2-3 feet of snow round here, just had another storm yesterday. I'm ready for a bit of a 'snow' break.. lol
We got maybe 10 inches Tuesday... maybe 4 yesterday and probably 14 inches last night. So what's that... 28 inches over the last 3 days. Nope, we're not snowed in. We just spend every morning digging out. It's been good snow... light but sticks to itself so the 4 wheeler moves it quite well. I'm glad I started the year pushing it way back on the lawn so I have a place to put it if we really get a bunch in a few days. Spring should be on the way soon. Higher up on the Tug Hill Plateau.... they got a lot more. We're on an off year. We may have gotten only about 7 or possibly 8 feet this year. We've had it all just about melt away 2 or 3 times. Ten miles South of us they're at maybe 5 feet. 10 miles North they're probably at 10 feet or more. Even up there the typical year is well over 200 inches. We're usually at 150-200.
Yep. Not sure how much snow we've gotten, but the wind is fierce, and the snow is drifting like crazy. I left work at noon today, and spend a couple hours blading the mile and a half gravel road to my house. I don't like winter!
Yep got released from work around noon today. I think we are supposed to get about 10 inches...not sure and don't really care. I stocked up on beer yesterday so I'm good to go for a few snow days
Started here about noon and been goin good every since. Not sure how much we got and not really to worried cause I didn't have anywhere to go anyway ha. The dogs enjoying it.
