Wow, Sunday they are calling for rain/snow with a high of 42. This is probably the first time in at least 10-15 years that it's supposed to snow in October. I hope it does. Would be nice to see the white fluffy stuff this early in the season! You can bet your ass I will be out there on Sunday!

What's the weather like in your region? Any "earlier than usual" snow for you this year?

No snow forecast yet, but the temps are unseasonably cool... Heck, for the last five or six years that I can remember this week has been in the high 80s; we're 20 degrees lower this year.

    I'm lovin' it. :)

Yeah I was just talking about how the temps are so unbelievably cool. I would take these temps in November. This weekend it won't reach 50 degrees and the lows will be below freezing with a chance of snow/rain. That'll get the foliage off the trees.

same out west, hotter than heck the last week of Sept but now.. big drop in temps.. freezing at night at my place now, heard from a friend yesterday whom set up his rifle elk camp in the high country.. he got 14 inches of snow dumped on him already! Glad I am hunting in the lower country...

Chance of snow here too for Sunday. With highs only like in the mid to upper 30s. Should be a great weekend to sit!

I can tell you Friday night looks good. A cold front is pushing through right after it has been raining and windy all day. The deer should be on their feet and moving here. Luckily I will be able to hunt!

oh i know its great weather, But the ground temp wont be cool enough for it to stick, and if its mixed, its just as bad as hunting in the rain.....
