There are several reasons I love hunting in the snow, but I think the visibility it provides is at the top of the list! I saw 6 doe (not all together) last evening as they came out of this thicket about an hour before dark. I was able to see them MUCH sooner than I would have had there been no snow. The slightest movement sticks out big time!

The first doe came out alone around 3:30PM, then a half hour latter 2 more doe came out and browsed away from me . Shortly after that, a group of 3 more came out at the SAME spot as the others, and also browsed away. The spot they exited from was 50yrds further down the edge of the thicket. This evening I'll be where I should have been yesterday evening!:D Good luck to the other hard- cores still sitting in the cold and snow. It's only going up to 28F here. BRRRRR!!

Wimp!!! ;) Best of luck there Jeff!! I love the snow too but I've also noticed It's easier to get picked out too In the tree. They can see better as well I believe.

    Best of luck!!
