Has anyone been seeing or hearing of where the migration is at? I've been hearing that there are good numbers in Missouri. I'm in Brookings, SD and am wondering when they might be passing through. Any thoughts?

Ahhhhhhhhh.... they came through here about 2 or 3 months ago heading south. I'd say they're all on the gulf coast off Texas feeding in the rice fields. LOL They're all roosting in the salt marshes in Galveston and those places. Our fly way is spending the winter in Maryland.

Not sure about numbers in Northern MO. Southeast has some, nowhere near what it usually has this time of year. I've heard there's still millions south of here.

Surprise ..... Surprise. Today one of the cut cornfields across the creek filled up with Canadians. Down stream about 1/2 a mile another field filled up with maybe 1000 snows. So, I guess they know we had a mild winter too. I really can't see them moving much further north though. There's still snow and ice on the lakes above us. Our ice went out of the creeks some time ago. The lake just went to hell last week. 2 different groups went through the ice and had to be rescued. Now we have lots of open water for geese to raft up in at night.
