What do you guys wear/own for outdoor use in the winter (non hunting)? I'm looking for something to replace using my 1000gram old school hunting boots (too hot and bulky).

I'm interested in something with around 400 grams of insulation, but a lighter weight and more "sport" fit is ideal.

I'm looking at two right now in particular.

The Cabelas Boa Snow Runner Max:

    The Salomon Deemax 2:

I love the BOA system. I have it on my wading boots and I own Salomon Speedcross 3 trail shoes, and the lacing system (basically a BOA) is awesome as well.

    Any recommendations?
