Had several pictures of this deer visiting my mineral station on the side of a cornfield. With a stand less than 15 yards away that has been there for years without being disturbed. I am believing that he is a young deer with great genetics but I am also troubled that he may be an older deer that is decreasing in size. Try to give me a rough estimate on the age and score on this deer.

I say 4+ with great genetics. 4+ year olds still have that race horse like appearance and longish looking legs. 5+ is when they start looking more balanced with shorter legs and broader, wider body. I don't think there's any way he's only 2+ or even 3+...he's too solid and muscular but too lanky to be 5+ yet. No way that he's peaked yet.
I agree he looks younger in the two color pics but the later one in B&W broadside looks to me like he's older than he appears in the two color shots. He's still fairly young though at 4.

    Incredible deer!

I have a hard time believing that deer is any younger than 3.5. Definitely don't think it's a 7+ yr old buck that is heading downhill either. I would guess 3.5 yrs old and would make either a great 4.5 yr old next year or a beautiful mount on your wall! I personally would not be able to let him reach 4.5 yrs old if he walked past me! I would put him around 150" gross score.

I'd say at least 3.5. Who cares he is a freak of a buck. I sure hope he isn't on the downside.

No way this deer is on the down hill side. He's young-I would say no more than 3.5-but he's definitely a stud.

200+ inch Potential all day long. Buck is no more than 2.5 years old. Great things happen to those who wait...
