After Brett (virginiashadow) left today I went down to the local creek to see how the Gar were running. I saw a few but missed a shot or two. I was wading in a funnel spot when I saw a fish coming that I really didn't recognize. When it got really close I let fly and hit it! Here's the video.
Glad you killed it. They're a problem invasive species. Make sure you let your local fisheries biologist(s) know about it too and where you got it. They're probably tracking the spread of them. http://fishing.about.com/cs/fishfactsinfo/a/aa092703a.htm
Oh, they know and they can't stop them. They do tell everyone to kill them all! I did put a final shot right through the head just to make sure it was dead. They say they can live out of water for a considerably long time.
I love watching your video's Rob , I always learn something . This time I learn't what a Snakehead fish is , keep'em coming Fella .
