My cousin got me two timber rattlesnakes and I've already cleaned, scraped and I have the skins in glycerin and alcohol for about 48 hours. What are some things y'all would like to make out of the skins? And how would you go about making it? All suggestions welcome. Thanks.
That's flippin sweet!! Whatever you end up making I'm sure it will be sick!!! Could you make a wallet?
A wallet would be sweet! You could probably make a couple and give them away or sell them. Sent from my LG-P925 using Tapatalk 2
Here is my aligator skin wallet. Not a fan of big wallets. Can't even tell its in my pocket most of the time.
I carry the very same style of wallet. Mine is just leather, but I love it. Very small and easy to carry in a front pocket.
Some great ideas. Traditional bow hunters put them on the front of their bows. I guess you already thought of a neck tie
Hey dogfish, how did you go about making the wallet? I'm thinking of hat band or belt or wallet maybe all three if I had enough. Did you just glue the skin onto a leather wallet? What glue would you use to attach skin to leather? Thanks for the great ideas.
I didn't make it. A buddy of mine that does a lot of alligator hunting gave it to me as a gift. They are expensive from what ive seen online.
