So I was in the market for a semi auto pistol for the last couple months. I shot a couple different types and I settled of the Smith & Wesson M&P in .40 caliber. So Cabelas had a deal going that the carry kit they have is normally $630 on sale for $570. Then I used the employee pricing coupon that was good until yesterday for another 10% off thats $57. So now were at $513. I had $9 credit on the cabelas card and $200ish from christmas. That put me out the door for right around $300. Thats a hell of a deal. And with the carry kit I got an extra magazine, gun holster, mag holster, and a speed loader. I was really happy leaving cabelas last night even after my 2 hour wait for my PICS check. I didnt get to shoot it last night cause it was dark, but I know where I'm heading right after work.

You got ripped off! I can buy the same piece all day long out of the trunk of someone's car for two bills. It's already been broken in and those pesky serial numbers are filed off so it's untraceable. :)

Congrats on your purchase. I'm in the market for another carry gun. I currently have the LCP but have been looking at the LC9.

Not meaning to hijack this post but how do you like the LCP Finch? I have been looking at that or the LC9. Not completely sure what I want to buy though.

Thats why I am a little hesitant to buy it. I am thinking that I will regret buying it later. I think I would like the LC9 much better.

A coworker of mine has both and says the LC9 really isn't that much bigger. I think it's "bigger" enough to fit more comfortably in my hand. It might not slip easily into my back pocket but I'll probably go with a Crossbreed IWB holster or something similar.

Ya I have held both and the LC9 feels a lot better in my hand. I have small hands being that I am only 5'8" lol. I love how easy it would be to conceal! Thanks for the info!
