Nothing yet... I bought the one with the threaded barrel and compensator. Doesnt do much on a .22 but it sure does look cool and it came with the match grade barrel. I do have a sure fire light that I have on my 45/70 for a camp gun for bears and it fits on the bottom of the forearm for the .22. That looks pretty cool. I'll see if I can dig up a couple pics of it.

I ordered one with the same features, this one is called the MOE edition. Is that what yours is?

The one I ordered looks a little different. It has a different stock and grip as well as different rifle sights. Other than that they look identical.

Oh yeah, that one is the next step up from this one. Thats got the mag pul flip up sights on it. That thing looks BA! You will have fun with it. The collapsable stock makes it nice for the young ones to shoot too.

    Scott,

Just about any accessory that will fit on a picatinny rail will fit on that gun if it has that hand guard. I have a picatinny rail on top of the gas block on my AR, and I've got a Streamlight TLR-1 light on top that gives me a solid 150 yards of shooting light, and will light up eyes well out past 200. They also make a TLR-2 version that has a laser built into it. It's an absolutely awesome light setup for about $100, and the whole thing is about the size of a D cell battery.

Here is a pic of the TLR-1.

Scott, I have sold probably 20 of these at my last employment. Awesome gun! I have had much feedback on them. They seem just as reliable the the 10/22. In other words, they will shoot anything you put in them.

Accesories are huge for this. Anything that will fit a standard picatinny rail will fit these. The Magpul (MOE) version is my favorite. Did you get the flip-up sights?

First thing I would recomend is to do a very good initial cleaning and then break in with a few hundreds rounds of high quality fast shooting ammo ( i.e CCI stingers or velocitors) PM me if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to help.

Straight from the S&W Rep " Gun can't go full auto". HIghly Highly illegal to do so anyways. Big time prison time:evilgrin:

+1 on the suggestion for the TLR-1 or TLR-2. Had one on my AR and loved it.

I was looking at lights yesterday and was shocked how much some of them cost. The Streamlight looks like a really good deal compared to much of the others I saw. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, it has the flip up sights on it. Thanks for the tips, I sill be sure to do so. I loved the simplicity of breaking this down to clean it as well.

I was really torn between this gun and a "target" Ruger 10-22 with a brown laminate stock with a heavy barrel with this twist. Very sweet gun.

I went with the Smith for many reason. I wanted the option of rifle sights, the Smith was quite a bit lighter (for the little guy in a couple years) and the endless possibilities for accessorizing it.
