Can anyone offer suggestions for small game arrow points? I've heard Judo points are good but would like to hear other's opinions as well. Thanks!

I shoot the G5 SGHs. They work pretty good and it gives squirrels(what I mostly shoot) a good thump. Just for tits I shoot them at 50 yards into my already beat target and they drop alot more out that far. I think I have to aim 2 feet over the target to get them to hit. They are also 50 grains heavier than my broadheads and field points. Man the whistle they make when they fly is pretty awesome. Overall they do a good job.

I've shot the G5 SGHs for a few years and I liked how they performed, but I would alaways end up having one of the talons break off eventually. I tried out the Easton Small Game points last fall and was very impressed. I hit trees and hard ground plenty of times with the heads and they never broke. They performed flawlessly on the squirrels I took.

Ive seen those but I wasnt sure about a mechanical varmint head. I might now pick some up. They've always intrigued me.

I used the judo points a lot growing up and always liked them. I picked up a couple pack of the Bass Pro equivalent this year to try, and was not impressed. The spring arms all broke off after a few shots. I have been wanting to try the G5 SGHs, and glad to hear others have liked them.

The judo tips are everything you need. They work great.

I quit buying judos years ago when I figured out that blunt tipped field pts with a small(1/2-3/4in) washer or locktype washer threaded on behind it worked just as well and cost 1/8 as much. They fly consistantly if matched up/centered right you shoot about the same wights as your broadheads. Flight is close to same(as my fixed blades) inside of 25 yds but then drops considerably. I always carry one in the quiver to stick a squirrel(that's bothering me), put the fear of God into a dog running deer, or just for a practice shot from the stand.

Whenever I hunt small game, I just use target points. Works good enough for me.
