I'm new to bow hunting, and I'd like to get in some practice hunts over the summer before deer season starts in the fall. What's a good method of going about finding spots? I know it's a combination of researching where they are and contacting any landowners whose land I might be using, but the logistics of going about it is a bit confusing. How do you generally go about setting up a hunt?

NOTE: I live in Kirkland (it's near Seattle), and wouldn't mind traveling up to 200 miles for a hunt. It looks like Bobcats and Coyote would be about right for preparing for deer, but other small game would work as well for trying things out.
