Hello, i just purchased a used comppound(pse infinity 900) and the previous owner had loosened the limb bolts so that the limbs are now resting on the lower edge of the pocket, and i am unable to adjust draw weight

does anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this?
    thanks in advance

I'm guessing that it has fixed limb pockets and he backed the limbs out far enough that they popped out of the pocket. I've seen it happen before and corrected it by loosening the limbs back up and tapping on the limb butt with a plastic gunsmithing hammer to get them back where they belong before tightening the limb bolts down again and reseating the limb. Don't tap on the limb with a metal hammer!!!! If you're going to do this at least make sure you use a wood block between the limb and hammer if you don't have a plastic one. Do so at your own risk!

They shouldn't have been loosened enough for the limb to be out of the pocket in the first place so I'd say; not much.

My honest thoughts are to bring to a dealer. They can likely dissasemble, throw in a press, and get it back in working order. It's easy to get hurt or permanently damage the bow without using the right tools........but for a reasonable fee a dealer can likely get it set back up, draw length adjusted to fit you, and get the draw weight where you are comfortable.
