Slicktrick magnum 1 1/8" or slicktrick grizztrick 1 1/4". Im shooting a mathews switchback xt 63# 30" draw length 9.3gpi beeman ics hunters. Which one of these two would you pick. I wont be shooting any further than 40yds.

Its really just personal preference. I shoot Slick Trick Magnums, just because really. I used to shoot the standard STs, then went to Rages, then to ST Magnums. They all kill deer just as dead as the others. Plus, all STs are sharp as s***

The only thing I didn't like about Rages was that they were so hard to swap blades. I had the ones with the spiral pin that holds the blades. I finally got fed up and went back to Slick Tricks, but went with the Magnums because they were slightly bigger. I used them all of last season, and killed lots of critters and never had one mishap. I actually picked up a pack of Killzones tonight, gonna try and kill a deer in the morning with them. I think I have broadhead ADD

I've never used the grizztrick because I've never had a reason to switch from my magnums. Super sharp and they fly great, you wouldn't be disappointed!

Shot a big doe yesterday morning with the 1" standards. The arrow busted through the shoulder blade and got about 6" of penetration. Broke one blade though but the ferrule was still perfect. Swapped blades and ready to go!
