Well I was all set and still may switch to a top of the line single beveled head next year, but man do the Slick Tricks do a number on deer. Many know I got a buck Monday, the amazing thing is the simple ease at which I blew through that deer and watched him go down not 20 yards from where I shot him. I was shooting from a height of 27 feet, and he was at 18-20 yards...so steeper angle than a lot of guys but still blew through him like butter....I'll admit any head at this distance screwed on to a proper weighted/spined arrow should blow through the deer but we read thread after thread and even see videos posted of guys not getting pass through shots (no comment on heads they use  ).

After decimating my doe last year with the ST Magnums, this buck this year....and the strength/re-usability of the ferrules (swap new blades in and go)....perhaps I'll save some cash and just switch arrows as this gnarly little heads put shotgun holes through deer.

I forgot in my excitement to take photos of entrance and exit holes...apologies.

Cool. If that buck had the kicker off the left side it would be a spitting image of a buck I shot 2 years ago. Very Nice

Nice buck. I like Slick Tricks, they just seem to fly better than most BH's out of my setup so I'm stickin with em. I hope to post some pics soon. I hunt mostly all public land and have seen a few nice deer just wrong place wrong time.

great deer, I was thinking about switching to slick tricks for next year I just have to dull up the rest of my current blades real quick like then I can switch over and probably save a lot of money of broadheads
