Anybody have any experience with the Slick Trick Standard 100's? I am hoping to use them in September for an elk hunt.

I used them for three seasons before moving to 125 mags. I still shoot standards on my backup setup. They're a great head. Fly well, ferrule is solid, blades are alright (sharp but I haven't had the best luck with durability). All around a great head.

Just like EVERY broadhead, I've heard if you put them through both lungs or heart the target will die. That could be speculation but I bet it's true.

Me personally I use the Slick Trick Magnums and love them. Blades sharp, ferrule ridiculously strong and ease to shoot.

I ended up getting the Standard 100's. They are flying great. I think I'm really gonna like them.

I just picked up the slick trick magnum this year. Can't wait to try them. I can say I'm happy with them so far just from broadhead tuning.

They fly great so for a longer shot on an Elk I'd say perfect. I went to the Viper trick for just a little cutting surface.

I too have just switched to the Standards although mine the are the 125 variety. So far they fly great and I love the sharpness. I had to make a couple of adjustments but they really respond to adjustments with the bow so they are a breeze to tune. They pretty much capture everything I want in a broadhead. Can't wait to try them out for real. Then I'll know for sure.
