I have about 5 dozen Slick Trick standard ferrules (100 and 125 grain) and am looking for replacement blades. A larger retailer has a deal on replacement blades for the slick trick crossbow heads and the blades look exactly the same as the standards with only the ferules being longer (but I dont need ferrules) for the crossbow version. Does anybody know if the crossbow blades will work in the standards? I went to the slick trick web site and called the number they provide. I got a voice mail saying that person is out of the office. They provide an alternate phone number and when I call I get a message from a diff person that says they are out of the office but they dont provide any other contact number so I am left hanging. Does anybody know if the blades for the xbow version will fit/work in the standards? http://slicktrick.net/products#xbow
the slicktrick website has the crossbow broadhead as being 1 1/8 while standard are 1 inch. if its a really good deal on blades you might buy one pack and see if they'll work. for me I'd just get the standard blades and be done with it.
I got an email back from Slick trick and they said yes the 1 1/2 magnum blades are the exact same blades they us in the xbow version which is not discontinued.
