Im trying to get my bow broadhead ready for the opener next weekend. I have a few broadheads that Im trying out and one of them are slick tricks. I shot them the other day and they shot well but when I pulled one out of my broadhead friendly Rhino Block target I noticed the two of the blades were chipped! Needless to say I was not happy!

Why do you think this happened?? Im at a loss...

Can't say for sure. I've been using them for a couple years now without problems. Maybe there is something in that target doing it?

The Slicks have the heaviest blades of any fixed head I'm aware of and are considers by many to be extremely strong.

That's what I thought too. I don't think it's the target because I know it's broad head friendly but who knows. I have another set of blades so I'll just use those.

Had to have hit something.. Those blades are tough, real tough. Slicktrick is using one of the stoutest blades out there, only a few other heads are thicker.

Maybe you hit the blade with another blade? Either that, or there is something in that block, as I shot an arrow last year, hit a limb, and the ground hard, and blades weren't damaged at all.
