    Yeah but if one of the bigger bucks on my property walks in within shooting range anyway...he won't get the chance to bed down before I shoot him. Just me but I'm not going to guess, about shot placement, either before or after the shot. Geometry of vitals areas change quite a bit with a deer bedded down.

    would a wolf hesitate to attack a bedded deer?

    the life of a deer is basically survival till disease, old age, or hunt.

    if i can make a well-placed shot, well…a man's gotta eat right?

    No but wolves take fawns and sickly animals too. They also sniff each others butts but I'm not inclined to copy that trait either, lol.

    Does that mean I am not suppose to shoot at them until they are on a dead run? Shooting them when they are standing still doesn't seem very sporting! Just say'n!
