    A friend and I have been asking around because we have different viewpoints on the matter. This is not intended to start arguments. I just would like to see what you think...
    Would you shoot a sleeping deer?

    If I was able to sneak up on a deer bedded down and curled up so it was presenting the vitals in the right way, sure. You are talking about using a bow and not a high-powered rifle, right?

    Of course I would. What difference does it make I shoot them while they are eating, looking for a hot date and everything else why not add sleeping to the mix.

    The argument is that it is not ethical. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot one bedded up, personally, but some say that it's not fair to the deer.
