I can and frequently do function on 2 to 14 hrs of sleep.

    I probably average 6-7 though.

    I usually sleep 4 1/2 to 6 hours a night and every 2 or 3 weeks I will crash for 8 to 10.

Sleep? Whats sleep? Ive been in the squad since about 8am (got up at 515am) and I still got about 20 minutes until were back to base (finishing up our 7th straight call). Hopefully we can sleep till around 6am (when we have to get up and head back to our main base).

I regularly function on 3-4 hours of sleep.

8 hours normally, except when my wife decides she wants something done, then it's more like 4 hours.

If I workout or am out and about a good 8 hours does wonders for me. If I just sit at my office all day and dont have a hard workout on top of it, I just need 6. In fact thats all my body will allow, I can't fall asleep at night if I dont workout.

Guess its pretty good motivation to workout.

I can do 3-4 hours for about 3 days if im motivated (gotta have coffee that third day), but after that I just go downhill.

I usually get my 8 hours, but its from 4am-noon. Until recently, it was 6am-2pm. I like these newer hours much better.

I probably average having 1 night a week where I only get 2-4 hours. But I much prefer 7-8 hours as I function much better, have a sharper mind and more energy when doing so.

I cannot sleep once the sun comes up no matter how hard I try. I guess if I had a completely dark room I could, but not in a conventional setting.

    I have a 2 month old...

But actually I usually get 6 hours a night. In bed by 10:30, get up at 4:30 to work out/run. Having a wife that breastfeeds is awesome for the husband's sleep
