So it was just Zach and me Friday night. We were going to go catfishing but decided to go see his first "Bond... James Bond" movie. Admittedly it has been a while since I have seen one myself and I was a little apprehensive. While there were a couple scenes I could have done without... we loved it. The best James Bond moview I have ever seen and Daniel Craig may be the best Bond... or at least a close second to Connery.
So ive heard. I want to start getting into the Bond films. I watched Casino Royale the other night. It wasnt to bad.
That's exactly what Zach said. So now I will be having to watching the movies from something like 1970 til today... oh my I hope he doesn't like them. LOL
The Bond list... the first one I remember was Goldfinger but I didn't see it until 71 or 72. We used to go the drive-in in Honolulu almost every Friday night. 1.1.1 Dr. No (1962) 1.1.2 From Russia with Love (1963) 1.1.3 Goldfinger (1964) 1.1.4 Thunderball (1965) 1.1.5 You Only Live Twice (1967) 1.1.6 On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) 1.1.7 Diamonds Are Forever (1971) 1.1.8 Live and Let Die (1973) 1.1.9 The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) 1.1.10 The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) 1.1.11 Moonraker (1979) 1.1.12 For Your Eyes Only (1981) 1.1.13 Octopussy (1983) 1.1.14 A View to a Kill (1985) 1.1.15 The Living Daylights (1987) 1.1.16 Licence to Kill (1989) 1.1.17 GoldenEye (1995) 1.1.18 Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) 1.1.19 The World Is Not Enough (1999) 1.1.20 Die Another Day (2002) 1.1.21 Casino Royale (2006) 1.1.22 Quantum of Solace (2008) 1.1.23 Skyfall (2012)
I was never a big Bond fan until Daniel Craig took over the role. I've enjoyed all of his Bond flicks.
How can any red blooded male not be a Bond fan. I loved them all... it should be required viewing for high school seniors. LOL And the Bond women... Hubba hubba.... they've all been ...well do I dare say... bathroom material. LOL
I grew up with Roger Moore as Bond..........he was a real ladies man I wanted to be bond as a kid..........secretly I still do Moneypenny will be getting added to the list....................
I saw it last weekend and was a little disappointed. I would agree that Daniel Craig is a great Bond. Maybe it is just me wishing to be young again, but I thought some of the earlier movies were better. I would not discourage anyone from seeing it, afterall, it is a Bond movie. It just didnt quite get to the expectations that I have for a Bond flick.
I've heard it was the best yet from several friends. Casino Royale would be tough to beat in my eyes.
