My eyes just hurt now, they feel really heavy. Family is at a church campout, they sent me home

 

I thought I had a crappy day, you win...but it is kinda funny when you think about it, especially if you stopped a skunk from getting a little nut and that was your pay back?

Hell, I'd spray if you stopped me from getting some...

 

that sucks but you can go back and get em andmake a couple of fancyhats of a pair of nice slippers.

 

I've had a few close encounter with skunks while bowhunting on the ground but so far never been sprayed. I want to keep it that way !!! LOL

The first one I said "sh!t" and ran like hell, the second one I yelled "You have got to be kidding me"

 

This morning my eyes were still in pain, I don't hunt mornings in early season, but I was going to today. I decided to not to go, I flushed them again and I can now see again with out fuzziness on the outside of my eyes.

On that note my 4 year old son is still laughing at me

The only bright spot was I did not get pull over by cops show. I was driving in the buff, I never would have lived that one down here. Justin would have given me my own page, LOL

 

That would have compounded the folks whose eyes hurt this morning...

For as much as it sucks that this happened to you I would like to thank you for posting it because I haven't been able to stop laughing since I read it last night!

I would have to think that the smell for you would be an improvement though! LOL

Man that sucks... I've been along quite a few episodes where one of our dogs gets it out pheasant hunting. It might as well be you then as they dogs run straight for you and start rubbing on you.

Only saw one guy get a direct hit, we made him ride in the back of the truck on the way back to town. He gags everytime we hit fresh skunk scent now.

 

Gary, your hunting season should be a reality show. Tent people, lesbian canoers, flipping a boat, chasing teenagers in your whitie tighties, and getting sprayed by a skunk...I'd watch that. Well, maybe minus you running around in your underwear. No one wants to see that.

Sucks about the skunks. You seem to build karma before knocking down a nice buck every year.
