I wish I was raised by YouTube because I could probably do anything.
I’ve learned how to boil and clean the skull but I can’t power wash it here. The nearby taxidermist does a much better job.

    Skin
    Wrap bases in tinfoil
Simmer with dish soap for 1.5-2hrs
    Pressure wash
    (CAREFULLY)
    Simmer another 1.5-2hrs
    Pressure wash again
(Make sure you wash out the brain cavity good this time)
Get whatever tools you want to use and pick the remainder off.
Change water and ad .5 cup of Oxiclean, simmer for 30-45 min.
    Remove and let dry
    Touch up bases

I have done several using this method and they have all turned out great with all the fragile nasal bone intact

Works great if you don't have to have it right now. Wrap antlers with plastic wrap, burry it in the yard up to the bases, cover with a plastic tote and set something heavy on top to keep the critters out. Now wait and let Mother Nature do all the work for you. Tip....use sand to burry the skull to keep the dirt from staining it a little darker. This won't matter if you plan on bleaching or painting it white anyway.

Honesty depends on how warm it is. There are some YouTube videos on it.
