I got the opertunity to clean my first skull over the weekend. I had fun and it was quite rewarding. Now that I have the equipment I'd like to do more. I'd like to find out where I can get more skull other than what I harvest. Maybe once I get enough practice. Make some side money. If any of you want a skull cleaned. I won't ask for money. Just ship it to me, and provide a prepaid shipper back.

I'd like to get some more practice and constructive criticizium.

PM Me if you would like to get a skull cleaned

It looks like you did a real good job on that one. Are they your horns?

Do you mean is this my skull. Yes. Did I make the horns? No. They are what came on the animal. I removed the horns, and cleaned the membrane off the bone. That was the hardest part.

Nice Corsican!! The skull looks great. I generally use bondo to attach the horns back to the skull. What did you do to get the horns break loose if you don't mind me asking? That is a pain.

20 minutes in the pot on a rolling boil for each horn. Then a couple tabs with a dead blow hammer and they slide right off. I used hot glue to reattach the horns and teeth. That way if I decide I want to change somthing up, all I have to do is boil it again and everything will come loose.

Super free for you. You don't even have to pay for shipping. Just drive up to my house. Have some beers and I'd be done in a couple hours at most.
If you get your deer by my house. You don't even have to make an extra trip. Haha

Patience, and a pressure washer. ahaha. a little tip on what i did was. skin it as best as you can, GET EVERYTHING. Then boil it for a while to loosen up the extra junk. Then pressure wash it, blow the brains out and everything. then boil it with some dish soap in the water. then add like about a half a bottle of peroxide and boil for another 10 minutes. hahahaaha I dont know if this is the right way to do it. but it sure worked for me. i just used what i had around the house. Good Luck,.!
