The dude has officially lost his last brain cell! Accusing Derek Jeter....... Derek Jeter of using HGH? Is nothing sacred anymore? If there is one professional athlete in the history of ALL sports that should get a pass on ANY accussations of anything remotely close to that it would be Jeter. What in the hell has the sports world come to? Guy is the epitomy of how it should be done as an athlete. A role model. Impecable record. Not even a single blemish with his personal or professional life through his entire career. You could dig as deep as you possible can and never find anything. Hes' that upstanding of an athlete. In this day and age of social media you can't uncover the slightest possible thing that he has ever done to lead anyone to believe of any wrong doing. And you have the nuts to insinuate that he is using something due to his year he is having? WOW! Someone needs to test Skip

Skip opens his mouth way to much. When Woody was on the show I loved It when he would stand up to Skip.

Would it suprise you if he did? I mean really? He is good friends with A-rod, you know? I'll play devils advocate. He has played 19 years of pretty much injury free baseball. Doesn't seemed to have lost much on throwing or hitting. May have lost two steps in base running. Sounds fishy to me.

I heard Jeter once slept with a chick, and then never called her. So...

NYB has gone off line. I think he might be in his club house holding his face in his hands and sobbing. He may even be burning his Jeter jersey and his 1993 rookie card.

I'm saying Skip's right, because that guy is a lunatic...but no athlete should ever get a free pass. Especially a baseball player. Its called a "cheater's sport" for a reason.

And FTR, he didn't accuse him. He basically wondered out loud if PEDs were the reason he was having a huge year at age 38. Especially when he had such a drop off last year. I don't see anything wrong with that. Skip is just a shock jock, so he's not scared to say what many are thinking.

There is not a single player in baseball that could test positive for PEDs, and I would be surprised by the news.

He gets paid to make comments that drive people crazy... We are talking about it; this is what ESPN wants.

So if you're Jeter... do you respond? Why not request the test himself to settle the matter once and for all? Why not randomly test every player potentially with some lottery system? I have to do it in my job..

Not my only job... I agree with PT... maybe they should test.. and do better background checks and several other things missed on ministers. Fine with me... I know I'm clean... unless caffeine is a banned substance.LOL

Yes MLB has random testing... Whenever a top tier player does something extra spectacular... like hit HR #13 in August? Seriously... #13... in August... in August? We're not talking May... that would be something to talk about... We're talking August... Okay enough Iverson...

We tag him as a PES user? Bayless must also be mindless, clueless and senseless.

    HATERSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

I disagree and say there are some that should be given the benefit of the doubt. Not many.... but some. Jeter falls in that category. Seriously, throughout his entire career the guy hasn't had ANYTHING negative to say about his personal or professional life. At age 38 he's going to tarnish his legacy? Really? If it were ever true I would boycott the entire sports world for the end of time.

    Like Lance Armstrong?

Take off your pinstriped glasses. No one in the sport of baseball deserves a free pass. I'm sure you would have said the same thing about Pettitte a few years back.

Its surprising he actually talked about someone other than Tebow.

I dont watch first take anymore because they are just getting out of control. The Dan Patrick Show is where it's at.
