So I've been hunting this property for a year and all the deer have been healthy and thriving. This week I pulled my card and I have several pictures of this doe.
Bumps all over the back of both ears. I've never seen this before and a quick Google leads me to believe this is fibroma??

Should I cull this doe as soon as season starts to stop a virus spread? Is it safe to eat?

Any suggestions for a management strategy is appreciated

    Could they be woodticks?

No, it's not disease, those are from ticks and biting flies. Don't worry about it, she'll be fine.

I have one doe on my property that looks just like this. She's gotten pretty close to my covert cameras so I could zoom in and see they were indeed ticks. I'm willing to bet those are ticks on her as well.
