Had 9 deer in the yard last night... the snow is up to their belly's. I have been feeding them sweet feed. I also picked up a couple of bags of deer corn and some apples. the little ones really look like they are struggling.

I've used easton axis in the years before. I liked them. Had no issues. Last year switched to Easton Carbon Bowfire. Love the finish on them. Kinda a snow blind kinda color, the Fly great.

Ya you guys keep getting those Nor-Easterns lol.

Ya up here all the snow has been gone for some time. We had a crazy cold December and January, averaging -20 to -30. After that winter was almost none existent. We floated around freezing mark which is very warm for us. Hardly any snow. We had a couple storms but the snow didn't last. So should have been a easier winter to survive due to weather. But sometimes that's not good either because the lack of deep snow means the coyotes could hunt all winter.

We didn't get anything this past storm that hammered the coast. Supposed to hit high 40s next week and close to 50 w/ sun. That should melt a bunch off. Headed to FL in 3 weeks and back on time for some turkey killing.

Deer down ALL weekend.. and yesterday afternoon about 30 turkeys. 2 jakes and 2 what I thought were jakes, but they were very large. I grabbed the binos and could see good spurs on them. I am wondering if they messed their beards up w/ the ice and snow.

So I wonder what we will get from bowhunting.com for winning the deer contest again this year?... although bragging rights again is pretty sweet!

I was just thinking that too. The bragging is by far tops, but prizes to go with are always great too

Captain should send a message to Fitz. He’ll get it sorted I’m sure.

He might as well send the 2019 prize packs out to us now too while he’s at it. Will def save him a trip next year.

Ok.. Fitz got back to me. Anyone have any changes from last year? Address or shirt size? I went through all of your PM's form last year and put together a list again for him.
Let me know of any changes as I will send this over to him tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Western
