Your taxidermist does some amazing work, not sure if it is the wall coloring that helps accentuate the detail but those are some good looking mounts. If he/she also did the turkey mounts it shows their attention to detail is forefront.

Curious what a shoulder mount costs, guessing the velvet buck costs more due to the velvet preservation.

Current look of my man cave. A bit busy/clustered at the moment and still have this years 10 to get done and a few other skull caps to put on plaques before I decide on final layout and placement.

Also, with the sun now set to almost the west coast you are officially the 2017 champs. Congrats!

Boy fellas, It feels pretty good to be apart of something special like this! Congrats again to everyone able to fill tags this year and to the guys that got their Trophy Bucks! I'm happy I could contribute the past 2 years with my best bow bucks to date.

A 3 peat would be on the verge of Epic... They'd be talking about us for a long time... lol

Very nice cls. Shoulder mount from my guy is $600 I believe now. He also did the rug and turkey fan. The mounted birds are from someone else. I have a buddy who does the skulls for me.

You aren’t kidding Berwick!!! Bragging rights for another year. Hopefully we can do it again next year! . Cheers! . I like our chances

I'll have a much better chance to kill a nice buck. I've only been hunting small tracts of land, 10-30 acres with only one or two decent stand sights. Can't wait to get out and scout my son-in-law's place (300+ acres) and look for sheds.

RB you have more ares than my spot. I hunt and killed the buck this year on 5 acres of timber / pasture that sits on the edge of the field. I have permission of the field owner and my property owner to hunt that edge so no beefs from either side.

most of my spots are 10 acre private pieces or less. Most abut large amounts of other private land, but I don't have permission in those spots. There are guys in other small spots nearby and I know several guys sneak into the larger tracts... nothing I can do about that. I have always had nothing but small acreage private spots.

I forgot to take pictures of my dead heads and a couple of my kill bucks in the garage for my trophies. Here they are:

The third buck from left and the fifth buck from the right were both shotgun kills. I also have some skull cuts that are in totes yet to be pulled out for my new addition.

This is my biggest dead head that I have ever found.

I went out to put my cameras back up and right where that buck was standing there are two scrapes that were not there all year! I have two camera's there now. One on pictures and one of videos. Hope he comes back and stays for next season.
