We have been getting a ton of snow up here. So I have moved my attention to the coyotes. I still have a couple weeks to hunt deer and a mixed tag in my pocket. But based on this amount of snow already, plus they are saying its going to be a bad winter. My freezer is pretty full. I feel it would make more sense for me to give the deer a hand this winter. Help those does and fawn survive.
I saw to fawns so far. Not desperate enough to waste a tag on a 50 pound deer. Taking my 5 year old granddaughter out this afternoon with me. That should be an adventure. May lower my standards to kill one with her on her first hunt. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

It is always a good time taking the little ones but seeing animals is the tough part of it if none show up. Way to go RB!
gonna try to get out for last hour / 1.5 of the day again today. the deer have been coming down very late, but you never know.

Team 4 has put a couple more on the board fellas... gonna end up being a close one like last year I think... If we get ILL Bucks buck entered, we will have a bit more of a buffer.
fantastic! I'm getting frustrated... big bucks (and small bucks) on both cameras I still have out. All night long.. not one pic during shooting light... and I really can't move on the deer due to posted property surrounding... also, they tracks are coming from EVERY where into both spots. I can't make heads or tails of it!
Our season ends January 14th so I still have 8 more days I can hunt for sure. I might try to take a couple days off work to get out also. I plan on smoking anything except little bucks. There is one buck the owner saw in his front yard that he wants me to kill. They are animal loves but still allow me to hunt. This buck has a broken front leg and he does not want it to suffer. I told him if I get the chance he is a goner. The problem is that he saw him at 10:30 at night so I hope that it is not turned nocturnal on me there.
