    Assuming ILL BUCK's deer is 120", Chago's is 170" (it's bigger than that), and berwick's doe.......we are at 1347+.

We already broke the record, just need the deer submitted. And I'm sure we are gonna rack up a few more does too. It would be pretty badass if we could break 1500!

I'm still going to Texas. So a doe won't be much work down there.

Was just doing a bit of snooping around on the score card. Team 4 (currently in lead) has a 170"+ buck that hasn't been added to the score card yet. My guess is they are about one doe away from being back in the lead.

I had a feeling that was the thought, but a pleasant surprise with that guy. Knew you had something impressive figured out to post that.
What a team season already and months and spots left to fill still. Been a blast

So I guess it's time for the story.

Well as you all know I watched this buck leave his bedroom the night before. So I literally got zero sleep last night. I was wide awake by 3 am. So I got in super early this morning to catch him hopefully going back. Well instead of going back. He was chasing girls allllllll over the place. I could hear shuffling of leaves and antlers colliding all morning while it was still dark. Couldn't see what was happening. Sounded like a war was going on. Once light came up. He gave me my first view of him of the day. Within range etc, but I just didn't have enough light yet and didnt want to chance it. He was too big to miss or worse wound.

He then took off after the doe again. Little while later as I was praying every prayer I was ever taught so that I would see him again. He came flying by at a 100mph chasing another 2 does. Now my eye balls are bleeding because I have just seen the biggest deer of my life twice within a hour or so.

This time I waited a little longer. And finally I see another doe hauling a$$. And guess who I see at like 80 yards..... So I blah like a sheep hoping to slow him down or stop him. The doe actually stopped. And he kept running. But as she stopped he eventually planted right behind her focused on her. He didn't even hear my blah. I obviously, having a heart attack fling a arrow. The arrow hits him smack in the shoulder. My heart sank hearing that thump in the bone. He was at 35 yards, so my 70lb bow and fairly heavy arrow set up saved me. As it crashed into the shoulder making a lot of damage. He tried to run off but just couldn't very quickly. I had time to grab another arrow and send one at 55 yards. That one was quartering away. So I put it further back and it came out in the opposite side arm pit. So the lungs were destroyed when I opened him up. Rage in the cage baby!!!! He ran another 20 yards or so and just fell over.

I tell you. My hands are still numb. I always brag about never getting buck fever. Every animal I have ever shot, I am always cool as a cat when drawing my weapon. I always get the adrenaline rush after for some reason. But this guy..... Ya adrenaline was pumping for 2 hours. From the moment I saw him the first time until I actually killed him. I thought I was gonna throw up after the second arrow lol. Experience I'll never forget.
