So if I'm doing the math right, we are 125 2/8" behind the first place guys. Both first and second place teams have more does than we do too.......we only have 3 entered. I'm guessing if we can get a good 5 or so does on the board we win this thing again, and one more buck in addition to ILL BUCK is just gonna be an extra pad in case one of the other teams gets lucky.

Good luck guys, I'm gonna do my best to get another 50 points this weekend!

 

Don't stress boys. The crazy Canadian promised 200 points this year. In stand and deer are chasing like mad.

 

What’s the highest a team had for a year? With every team seeming to be hitting big deer it should have some high scores and averages

Don't give up on me. Been working 12 HR days, six days a week. It'll be seven days this week. May get out Sat and Sun morning for a couple hours. I'll be out Thanksgiving for sure and I have another vacation the week before Christmas.

1314 points is the highest in the history of the contest. There were two years at 1300+, and two years between 1100-1300. I suspect the winning team breaks the record this year though as I don't remember ever having this many bucks down at this point in the contest.

What's interesting is that it really doesn't take monster deer to win this thing. A team that can put down 7-8 different 120" bucks and then another 7-8 does on top of it is gonna be in a great position to win this thing.

 

I agree. I think unless a major slump hits everyone there’s very possibly gonna be a few over 1300. I agree about the size too. If a team has consistent deer down it adds up better compared to just a few monsters. A few monsters and most slots filled sure could add up to some big numbers. It’s gonna be interesting how this season ends up for sure.

Honestly, I think EHD. Found a doe dead two days ago as well. I've never had a year this bad. No one around me is seeing much. I've seen some spikes and 4 point...lol. Really sad.

Boys..... I saw a giant tonight. He's chasing my girls real hard. Tomorrow morning I'll be out again. Boys.... Not kidding..... He's huge...... Like 175"+ kinda huge. I snuck out early on purpose so I would not bump him. Going in super early tomorrow. I watched him leave his bed. He was just too far. So if he goes back to that same bed tomorrow morning. He's a dead man.
