Oh ya boys!!!! Nice job wake. REPEAT CHAMPS. REPEAT CHAMPS. REPEAT CHAMPS.

We should be in the mix I think with these deer down. Fitz hasn't done a update for a while.

I agree with you turro. We can never be too sure with guessing from pics. So I'll just kill him so we can be sure lol

Congrats again Wake. Awesome deer. Really shows how impressive when you’re with him. Looking forward to seeing what he measures and adds in for sure.

Guys - As best I can tell we prob need 5-6 does to lock this thing up. We are just over 900 points right now, and historicallly it takes 1200-1300 to win. One buck and 4+ does would do it too.

Good luck to those of you still in the woods!

Rick I don't believe in jinxing it. I believe in calling it. I'm joining 200pt club this year. Mark my words.

Well, I'm going up north a couple days before gun season and will be trying to get a doe. I've started packing my truck just have to remember the bow. Man that would be a great way to start the gun season up north.
I'll keep you all posted come Thur/Fri.

Way to go WAKE! Looks like we are on a roll! I will get another deer with bow and I will be shotgun hunting this coming weekend. I will be in Florida until the 26th then off the hunting until December 4th. Season end is in January so I should be good. I am thinking of taking two does with gun in attempts to double on Pope and Young deer but we will see what happens. Here are some bucks from cam card flop:

The owner of the property said that this 8 was out this morning also. Someone decided to stay in since it was raining really good. It is too early to get sick for my hunting so I chose to stay in. The owners nephew was out and spotted him in the pasture but to far away. All the pictures have been morning on him and will be out tomorrow afternoon since I have the grandbaby to watch in am. I will be out there Tuesday morning though and if he comes by he will be living in my house. There are 5 hunters on this property with three on the property to the north so the odds of him lasting much longer are tough but so far he has made it happen.

Some of these scores on the board are not even funny. At the end of the day, cheating is getting you a free hat lol. There's 110" deer being labelled as 130+. I mean, hell every deer is a trophy to the hunter. I totally appreciate that. But don't lie about the inches. Seriously.

Saw 6 does / yearlings tonight and will be back in the AM for the 8 pointer or a slick head. I sure hope that he is as big as he looks on cam but if I dont like his mass from stand I might let walk but he will probably die this year since 5 people hunt this property and dont like that the young kids are playing their games. I have a pic of a doe in front of my cam and then another of it taking off running. After that I have one of the young kids running in front of my camera with his bow. I can not do anything about it since it is the nephew of the owners property. I am not happy about it but hands are tied. This is the downfall of not owning your hunting property. Crossing fingers for the morning and will see what happens. Bright side of things is DAWG BITES for supper tomorrow night! Some of you on this site have had them. Here is a pic of the prep of the tasty treats! I have also put some pictures of one of my 3-D shooters at the club with his buck! DANDY![IMG]
