I’m sleeping in tomorrow morning. If my deer is not dead in morning were ruling it non fatal hits and unrecoverable.

Sorry to hear Wake. Definitely happens to everyone, sucks more when happens when someone else has it too.
All will be forgiven if you go out and drop some now. Hopefully rough ones out of the way so next ones work out

Perfect morning here.. heavy frost... high 20s.. light north wind... wish I was out. Buddy texted me earlier.. he had a nice 8 dogging a doe around herm 50-60 yards... of course the only buck in range was a 4pt.
.... and i'm sitting in my office prepping for an 8am meeting... then I have to head out to PA w/ the family.
Back in the tree next Tues ... I hope.

wow guys! unbelievable stories! bummer there Western. too bad you didn't find him. I'm sure he's down but where is the question. Is there anywhere you can identify that would be an escape route for him. When I've lost wound signs I've just sat at the last blood and started thinking where they would escape to, what is really thick for cover. Let us know if you come across him. Good luck with the next one.
Wake, sorry to hear that. Just a bummer when you can't find them.
Good luck to everyone still hunting. Our gun season starts next weekend. I'm hoping to get out for a couple of bowhunts for a doe and add another 50pts.

Buddy shot a whopper this afternoon. Huge mass buck. Insane mass. I’ll try to get a pic up but don’t want to post without his permission. Apparently guys were working on his pool and the back chased a doe by them in his yard. He went out 2 hours later and he came by and grunted him in

Sorry boys nothing to report from my week off. It was just too warm. And now all of a sudden temps dropped and guys are crushing deer. I still have my trip to Texas upcoming to my friends family farm. Plus still plenty of season. I'll be in the tree back at my place this weekend.

In my honey hole. Spot I don’t touch until I see bucks starting to chase. Had three bucks and doe come in this morning no shooters but it’s a good sign. Hunting the exact ridge I shot my 174” a while back. Fingers crossed

Nothing this morning. But I grabbed my camera cards out. I have one along a fence line where deer like to travel. I got this guy bedding there. This pic is about a week old. It's now all of a sudden gotten really cold and little bit of snow. So he's moved to where I know they always go when the cold comes. A thick man planted cedar bush. It's like 30 acres of planted cedars and spruces. You can not hunt in there it's so thick. But I have a stand just outside of it. To catch them going in and out. What do you think he scores.

That’s what I like to see when I jump on here.
Andrew I can’t imagine giving him a pass instead of a pass through but you’ve got insane deer there so you definitely know what you’re doing. Can’t wait til you get one down
Chago hope you can get a poke at him. Glad you’ve got the area figured out. I’m horrible guessing but just to put what I thinks a conservative number out there 160+. If I’m way off had a horrible night sleep and chaos with kids, but he’s very impressive size and character. Get him down and find out for sure for us
Awesome and congrats Wake. Definitely a nice bbd. Looking forward to more pics and story. Great to see. Looking forward to seeing how we’re adding up on the scorecard again too, should be decent
