Western hopefully the limited sits just end up to be the right ones. Sounds like friends are doing good so hopefully you’re due too
Hoping to get out I think wed and thurs. next week only will have one day. This weekend rifle opens and usually I grab a tag for some sits to be able to cover more ground but this year gonna save and just stick with bow. Probably will have something come out that makes me regret it but got something for the year already so rather keep this way

Went out this morning and saw a nice 8 point and three does. No shots there for me.

Hunted my new 200 acres last night, spot is incredible. Surrounded by deer all night. Didn't want to shoot a doe because I had young bucks pushing all night. About 6, a 140 stepped out at 100 yards and walked to the beans, closest he got was 75 yards. I know there are bigger deer in there so we will see. Going back in Friday night.

A little change of scenery for this afternoon's hunt. Deer have been using the trail behind this stand frequently. Found three active scrapes and numerous rubs within 100'.[IMG][IMG]

I learned a valuable lesson again this evening, never have two stands within eyesight of each other. I was in one stand and a pretty good buck was in a shooting lane 15 yds from my other stand. I tried to grunt him into range but he was dogging a couple does. I've always learned through repetition but I've got it now. I will be moving one of my stands soon.

Mature Massachusetts buck down! Not a huge score but a giant six point with great mass

As pathetic as it is this is actually a very good dear from Massachusetts in the areas that I hunt. Anything older than 2 1/2 years old around here is a great trophy

Haven't had any pictures of this good looking young buck since September. He finally shows back up on Halloween. He's young but will be hard to pass if I see him. STC_0006.jpg

Congrats Western. That’s a good kill. For a six he’s got very good size for sure and a nice look . I’d be pumped for him.
Good luck Rb. Love to see you get him

Well done Western. That's a nice buck. Alright boys a few more nice bucks on the board. I'm travelling today to camp. Tomorrow in the stand for a week.
