Glad you're better too Chago. That's gotta be pretty rough to get you messed up like that.
Mount looks awesome Western. He does look damaged there, looks like that side didn't grow as much as the other maybe from it too. It makes for a cool mount

Well, my season has come to an end with being mad at myself once again to take out my year. I have not been seeing any deer so I decided to do some goose hunting since my field was loading up with around 5,000 to 10,000 geese. Needless to say the geese flew over to another field and then I went out to take down my trail cams for clean up and replace batteries to put them back out in a week or two. All my deer have been moving at night except for the past two days when I was goose hunting. I missed another chance at this big guy and hope that he makes it to next year. Here are some of the pictures and videos. I am not sure if he would of made it to me anyhow since 6 does came to me at 8:29 am and then he came at 8:35 am. I am sure I would of took another doe and the others would of ran back to him and off the other way. So not sure if it would of played out anyhow but still wish I would of been out there. It is a very tough time enjoying both Bow Season and Waterfowl Season when they both run at the same time. It is just the way my luck has been this year so I am in hopes to change that next year. The other thing is that the daylight pictures are not good either since they are during the week and I watch my granddaughter Monday to Friday's every week. One day she will be with me in the stand I hope. LOL

That's always the way it goes dawg... that's just part of the game... no matter how frustrating it is...
I am starting to think that when I feel I should do something different because something is frustrating me, that's when I need to go do what I think is wrong because that's when it happens! LOL... its a mind game!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.. wedding went off perfectly and it was a great time. Back to reality now... Honeymoon will be at a later date.. hahaha.

Looks like we are in good shape in the contest... you never know, but just about 2 weeks left.... maybe we'll end up w/ a few more points... but we are in 1st still

Thanks guys... it was a great day... I am very thankful that I have found such a wonderful woman who is so good to me and my daughters. They love her so much and it is amazing to see how she makes them her priority... and she loves me hunting and gets it.. lol

Sounds like finally someone else has the issues at home that I have! "Put the seat down!" is the famous yelled words since my house is full of a great wife and young ladies and a granddaughter. LOL

yup...i'm surrounded by women... even 2 female dogs!!! hahaha... they are all wonderful. I am divorced and have my daugthers 50% of the time.. However, my 12 year old stays w/ me more than 50% of the time and since we are actively involved in their sports and coach their softball teams and travel team, I could confidently say that I am w/ them 75% of the time.

In the stand today and tomorrow. Finally have full weekend off and taking advantage of it. I've had a terrible seasoning as far as buck sightings or even trail camera pics. Pulled card before climbing up and was happy to see the biggest one I have on camera to date this year. Hoping to put a buck down but will gladly shoot a yearling. [IMG]

Unless I missed something. Looks like we won unless team 26 gets a deer down in next couple days.

    Good Luck Rb!
I'm already anxious for next October!
By my calculations we are in 1st by over 50 pts... they would either need a buck or a couple of does by end of contest tomorrow.... Anything is possible.. they have a couple of guys still hunting as well, so you never know. Get it done today or tomorrow Rb!!!! for insurance! LOL
Good luck out there... stay safe.
