    Fantastic Job Dawg!!!!
Archery season over here for '16. Shotgun opened this am.
Had a nice 9 point come down Wed & Friday PM to the yard... hope he makes it through this AM... I'll be up behind house and about here and there random afternoons w/ the gun. I'm going to head out this afternoon hopefully for last hour and half.

MA so your season is done until next year?

Way to go TEAM 3! We are almost in first and I hope I get a buck by the end of our season. We end January 15th so I have plenty of time and hope to pull it off. I will be out as much as I can and should get one.

Dawg... I have until the end of the year... but it is shotgun now and blackpowder after that... I will be out when I can, however, most likely with blackpowder, not the bow.
So, I am done for the contest anyway with my 2 entries.. but i'll stick around. Hopefully we win this thing and the team stays together for next year.

wow... I just looked and we are only out of first by 12 points...
Chago, did we ever get an answer on your Xbow kill doe?

Another doe or even a fergie buck can put us on top!

Saw a borderline shooter the other night. Decently wide and tall 8pt. Couldn't tell if he was 2 1/2 or 3 1/2. Gun season just opened here but my property is bow only so hopefully the deer will feel less pressured. While I don't like the term culling since I feel likes it's sometimes just an excuse to shoot another deer. Just go ahead and admit is a fergie:)I do have a wide 4pt running around. I need to get a better look at him though. Temps should drop this week so who knows I might get something down.

Sat last light tonight. Nothing. Yesterday half hour til dark my older son saw two come out from the house and was excited, granted so was I since first ones during light in a while. He told me I need to go put one on the ground so he can pet it like the other one. I did a spot of turnips/rye/oats for late season chances. They've been hitting that.

Two small bucks and few does, had been night but coming earlier. Seems as no rut interest anymore. I'm gonna sit next few days since I can for last light try. They're not big but I'm not gonna be picky now. Points and meat and happy kids are tough to pass up on.

I wont be out with the bow until Thursday of next week since this will be second season for shotgun. I will be goose scouting in hopes to get some geese this weekend.

A few steps away from things working out. Few minutes left in light and had small 8 within ten yards coming around and turned away instead of just further into my lane. Had to wait him out after dark and hope he was good and clear when I snuck out and left. Really wished that woulda worked out for a shot but hopefully more chances on him.

He said it has to be all 3 in both photos. Don't worry boys, I will plug another doe in late season. Once that snow covers the ground, hunting does over corn is not that difficult. Remember I am in Canada lol

Just came back from SD on a phaesant hunt!!!! awesome!!!! 15 guys, 45 birds x 3 days straight. WOW it was fun

Had to check cams just now to see how things are again. One aggressor cam that i have to return. Not happy. My bushnell cams have been steady returns and batteries for years now. It's frustrating when others seem to have great luck with them. Between two cams since 2012 ive had between 2 and 6 returns each year. Oh well. That buck last night must not have really cared, he was back within an hour and throughout the night with a 3 pt and does. Hopefully the cold inches them just earlier for tonight.
Sounds like you guys got some good potential too still. Awesome. A few could have a great shot at it or at least anyone would have to have something to work for. Win or lose it's been a lot of fun with action and keeping competitive.

Busted. He came in last min and fast. Drew since he was heading perfect. Think I was a little less than smooth and got a blow and white flag. Crap. Gonna let things settle and keep an eye on how things go. I wasn't expecting to use that spot so early but almost worked out. Still almost a month left

Here is the first morning. We were almost at our limit but then had to do one more field after lunch. It was awesome.
