so when I say that my Covert does not send me all the pics, it's starting to get ridiculous. I just ran into that spot in between client meetings to put my climber in. I'm going to hunt it tomorrow am and sat am.
I had hundreds of pics... including this one!!!! This guy was there 2 mornings first light (7:20am) and one afternoon at 4:45pm!!!! and some night time pics too! Him... along w/ several other 2.5 year old rack bucks and a bunchy of 1.5 year olds...
This is the same buck I posted last week

I hope so Wake.. Surprisingly, he has been around quite a bit. this was one of the other pics that shows the rack a bit better.

That's a nice buck. Good luck with him now that you know he's been around. That's one fear I had of looking into the txt cams. At least you get some pics but sure sucks missing out on those that you'd plan around.
I checked cams other day and had one nice one around a few nights. Think it was the one I saw poke through quick. Rifle starts Saturday and I'm gonna sit with that at least morning. The spot isn't set up for bow, didn't trim it out like I needed to, and worth sitting there deterring unwelcome trespassers. It'll take a little work and I think that'll be a great spot next year and future. Gonna get some bow sits in in town next week hoping most are away with guns and have been itching to check that cam again.

Back in the stand this afternoon. Light mist falling and two fresh scrapes within 30 yds of my stand.

My dad just saw my number one shooter walk past my stand again. Happened Monday night too. Every night I go to school there is a perfect wind for that stand and he walks past

Here is one of the ones I've been patterning since last week. Now the rut is coming and his pre rut pattern is nearly gone. ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1478293325.562850.jpg

Alright guys, it almost happened last night. Rattled my number one to 75 yards last night, couldn't get him to close the distance. I'm going to guess he's around 170", and he's 4.5-5.5. He's a stud!

I'm moving in a little ways on him tonight. Just needed this eastern/north eastern wind. There are 21 scrapes around the edge of this field I'm hunting, I've got a camera on the freshest one. So hopefully I'll have some video too

Horribly slow day for rifle opener. Saw one doe just before dark. Steady shots close around so hopefully just lots of dead squirrels. Checked cams and have a few does steady coming through one smaller kill plot I made. Might take the bow tomorrow night and hit there and hope a buck comes through or get impulsive and try a doe. Never had this many mosquitoes in rifle season before.
As always good luck to everyone. Andrew next post I'm hoping to see you with that guy

Didn't get to hunt this morning. My granddaughter shot a spike yesterday evening. We spent all morning looking for it. It's her first and I think she's hooked.[IMG]

That's awesome! Congrats. Boys you won't believe my morning. Went out and I guess my knife was not seated all the way into its sheath. I have no idea how I did this but the cable must have rubbed against it and pop! My bow blew up. I ran over to my dad's place on my way to the land I hunt. Grabbed his crossbow. Ended up getting a doe. All day been running to get this bow butchered and my bow repaired as tomorrow morning I leave for my Texas hunt. Why did I shoot this doe lol. Either way I took pics in case I was not sure do crossbows count?
