Sucks no Sunday hunting in mass. Another rain out today. Absolute washout. Supposed to be 35mph gusts later when rain breaks .
I may go over to NY tomorrow. Sunday hunting allowed over there. Mass sucks

Last night got froggy at dark! My buddy that hunts his property north of me texted and said deer all over him 10-15 of them! I started to look his way since he only 175 yards away and saw three does heading my way. I knew it was going to be a no shot due to shooting light. Next thing I saw was a shooter buck and he was heading back north towards my buddy. I only had a doe in shooting range. She was very on edge and spooked at very easy soft sounds. She ran back north when she realized she was the only one heading my direction. I had her at 20 yards. So, I am now all settled in this morning in hopes to get a shot at the big boy! Crossing my fingers!

Well, just had the buck that I had in trail cam pic with leaves on his head at 60 yards but turned and went back crossed creek then headed for my other stand but caught me moving looking for him from this side of creek. He blew then went back north on me. This stand is a tough stand when hunting due to it being on edge of field and deer can see from other side well. I left my back side covered by limbs but they still get me every now and then!

Out for youth season with my granddaughter Yahilyn. Seen 5 so far including a pretty good buck before legal shoot light. No shots yet. Hopefully we can get her one. Be on the lookout for pictures. [IMG]

At least your getting lots of action. Always makes the hunting more fun. I do still have another deer tag. But with the elk, my two bucks and my daughter's doe. I have enough more then enough meat to be sharing with family. I might start my coyote slaughtering a little earlier this year. Give my deer a break and a easier winter.

Am I right looking at scorecard that were in second about 100 down? Not a bad start so far. With the pics and sightings should make for an interesting season still

I’m in. Windy as hell but managed to get out the last couple hours. Been a nice 8 in here recently. Maybe he’ll come by 56236086100__D05EB1C9-5C2F-4A15-A266-A6F0AF6EB87E.JPG

Pretty windy here in Arkansas too. We didn't have any luck this morning, only saw those 5 real early. Did have coyote come through around 10 but she couldn't get her sights on him. I'm in the stand bow hunting this evening. Had a pretty decent one on camera. Hope I can get a crack at him. Hunting alone in the morning and taking granddaughter out tomorrow afternoon. [IMG]

Set up in a beautiful spot. Saw 13 scrapes on the way in and two good rubs. Big deer on camera, so hopefully he shows. IMG_1778.JPG

whackem Dawg! bad news boys. went out for the first time last night and saw nothing. woke up this morning got denied comp time, had to go to work and worst of all, woke up with a massive sinus infection. feel like absolute crap. not gonna be able to go out with this in my head. bummer is only a week and half to go before gun season opens up. I'm hoping a few days of rest will help. this really sux. have had a nagging cough for 2 weeks now this. man I really feel miserable and doubt I'll get any sleep tonight. I'm hoping for some improvement by Wed so I can get out. If not I'll have to wait till next week to hit it hard.

good luck to everyone. glad to hear we are only a 100 pts down. that's only a buck away.
