Damn Andrew that looks like a stud! Hopefully the pass pays off for you. That would have been a tough deer to give the to.

It wasn’t easy, especially with the perfect hunt. It should pay off, good size piece of property that is bordered by guys of the same standards, so unless a youth or beginner wants him, he should make it.

That's a hard pass. Good for you. He's huge.

We got a ton of snow this morning. Welcome to Canada. Rest of the season will be white from here on out.

Was a slow morning but came out on top in the end. The rain the past night must of kept the deer bedded longer and I did not see any deer until this doe and another doe and yearling came in. This doe was on the move smelling the trail that it was walking. I drew back when she was at 30 yards and I ended up shooting her at 15 yards. I kept looking for a buck behind them but nothing there. I then took the shot. She ran about 30 yards and fell over. She gave me a 1/4ing towards me shot. The shot entry was on top right front of the shoulder and then it exited behind the left shoulder on the lower side of her body. I saw some Eastern Blue Birds, Wood Ducks, and the three deer. After I drug her out of the pasture the neighbors that hunt showed up to trim lanes. They only shotgun hunt so it all worked out today. Here are the pictures and in one of them I am sporting out Championship Hat:

Wow! all the deer down and pics of studs out there, your all driving me nuts! I am still working my ass off in OT so still not been out. which is unheard of for me. But this is it this week, I'm done. I work my regular shift this week and then start hitting the woods hard come Nov.
Congrats to everyone putting points on the board. Awesome and we look promising. I'm off work Monday and may go out early morning??, but I usually don't like to go out the day before work cuz of having to butcher the same night. I'm gonna put my gto away for the winter on Mon and go scout another piece of property for some sign. I have off 3 days in a row the 1st week of Nov and then hit it hard.
Wake, I hope you shoot that spit brow tine bruiser, DAWG congrats again. We are on a roll!
    good luck to everyone.

My vacation starts tomorrow. Probably won't make it out in the morning. I won't get off until 3am but I'll be out in the afternoon and all next week.
